The development of the FPSTM Group over
some years is a direct result of the enthusiasm, drive
and determination and foresight of the Directors of Famous
Freight Forwarding Singapore, Mr. Quincy Tan; Pacific
Bridge Services Hong Kong, Mr. Benny Ling, Mr. Patrick
Lau and Mr. Edmond Tong; and Leo Transport Bangkok, Mr.
Kettivit Sitisoontornwong.
Their dream was to establish a global network comprising
of FPS companies and forming a strategic alliance with
first companies prepared to work under a unified banner
for the common benefit of all.
To bring their dream to fruition, they recognized the
need to work with enthusiastic partners committed to
building up their own business and at the same time
willing to embrace the FPS group concept. Many of the
network members and agents having previously worked
closely with the Famous Freight / Pacific Bridge / Leo
Transport Group of Companies for some years were delighted
to become part of the FPS Group concept.
Commencing with the establishment of Famous Pacific
Shipping Australia in 1994, and was soon followed by
Famous Pacific Shipping offices in Korea, Indonesia,
Philippines, Thailand, China, Japan, Malaysia, South
Africa, USA, Canada, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, and Fiji.
On 1st April 2000 Pacific Bridge Services in Hong Kong,
changed their to Famous Pacific Shipping (HK) Ltd. and
there are now locations worldwide under the FPS banner.
There now exists a family atmosphere within the group,
which flows on to every aspect of business enabling
each member and their clients to experience remarkable
levels of personalized service which are only achieved
by group members having a continuity of knowledge regarding
the customer needs, and more importantly, access to
competitive rates via service contracts with all major
ocean carriers.
The success of the group to date is testimony to the
diligence, dedication and commitment of all FPS members,
management and staff, in creating high standards in
customer service, which will set the pace in the forwarding
industry for years to come.
